Hey Everyone!

I just figured out how to get onto this blog for the first time today. (As I told Bracha, I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to her Learn Something New Presentation...lol). Just wanted to say hi to everyone and see what you are all up to. I would love to hear from you!

I'm basically spending most of my time studying (or trying to anyway...) for the boards, as I'm sure many of you can relate to! If anyone has any tips on what's helping them, please feel free to let me know!

For those of you that are planning on signing up soon, I figured that it is worth it to tell you that if you do it now before our official graduation date of January 31st, you can still get the student discount of $75 and have membership thru Jan. 2013!! Isn't that cool?

Just wanted to know if anyone knows when we are supposed to apply for the NBCOT exam. Are we supposed to do it before our official graduation date or after?

Hi, I know from EF's post that most of you are waiting until you pass the boards to start working, but I am curious to know if any of you started to look for jobs yet?

1) Where are you looking?

2) What type of job do you want? Example: in a clinic, school, peds, geriatrics, nursing homes, hospitals.

One of the second years actually emailed me a link to her FW site, which is looking to hire an OT. I will try to post it asap.

temporary license vs. regular license???

Hi guys and gals!!
Just wondering what everyone is planning on doing. Study, take boards and then apply for regular license? or first get job on temp license, eventually take boards, and then reapply for regular license...
