Hi guys and gals!! Just wondering what everyone is planning on doing. Study, take boards and then apply for regular license? or first get job on temp license, eventually take boards, and then reapply for regular license...
So my supervisor was telling me to apply for temp license, get a job, and then eventually take test. she said it is very common to do that in Jersey cuz in Jersey e/t gets dragged out unfortunately... they're notorious for for taking a really long time to legalize anything.
So where as in NY, the day aft you graduate you can have your temp license and start your job, in Jersey you wont be able to get your license till a month or more later. And in that time you can finish studying and take the test.
I definitely don't want to be busy with studying while working, so I wanna make sure I finished the bulk of the studying at least a month before I plan on starting work... still not sure if gonna apply for temp & regular license, or just regular one... I guess it depends on whether I wanna wait a whole month+ after I take the test for the regular license, or coordinate it that i'll be working under a temp license for the 1st 1-2 mos...
probably just gonna apply for reg license once I take the boards... not in the mood of getting all stressed over deadlines ;) had enough of those!! btw who is ot2012??
